Whalley Winter Wonderland - Official FC ride

This will be a lovely ride from Whalley travelling through the nearby picturesque villages. From Whalley we'll head up to Pendleton and down to Clitheroe. From there on to Waddington, Grindleton, Bolton by Bowland & round to Gisburn. Then on to Rimington, Downham, Barrow & back to Whalley. We'll stop for tea & cake in one of these idyllic villages. This ride will be a great opportunity to appreciate the villages as they herald in the New Year. We'll ride at a steady pace of 10-12 mph on this ride. There are some ups & downs but nothing too steep and We'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a great ride. Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please ensure you have all the parts for your bike - pump, spare tube, multi tool. Your bike is your responsibility! Phone, money too. You are your responsibility! Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone. If you book on this ride & can't make it, please have the courtesy to cancel your place, so someone else can take it. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
