Heading off on this steady ride, we leave Rivington using a variety of terrain – trails, country lanes, canal paths and some short sections of roads heading to our destination the village tea rooms at Wheelton. Please note that the café stop is dependent on the covid regulations at the time of the ride. Please bring a snack and a drink in case we cannot stop at a café.

Please take a lateral flow test and check you do not have any covid symptoms before joining the ride. Ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes and if they are a little bit stiff/rusty and you are not sure how to remedy, take it to your local bike shop. They will be happy to take a look. Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride unfortunately. We do have bikes and helmets to hire if required. Please email [email protected] for further information. Please bring spare inner tubes, bike levers and a pump (don’t worry about the latter if you don’t have one). A lock is advisable for the café stop. It is essential that all ride participants carry their own PPE, that is mask, anti bac gel/wipes and tissues. First aid consumables will be provided by the leader, but you will need to self-medicate if it is safe to do so.
