Witton Park and all stops in between

From Witton Park we will meet at one of Ray Lonsdales finest sculptures, the Ball and the Bradford Boys , we will also be able to take a sneak peak at the new Witton to Darlington cyclepath, turning back at the Gaunless bridge to have lunch in Bishop Auckland, before returning on the Bishop-Brandon cyclepath

A lovely circular route exploring bridleways, tracks and byways around Low Barns and Witton Castle

This ride is mainly off-road with some quiet B roads on the return leg.

We will end the ride at Low Barns Nature Reserve where we can make use of their lovely cafe and outdoor seating. You may also wish to bring binoculars :)

Helmets are always advisable, as are gloves - mitts recommended for the summer! and clothes suitable for the weather forecast. We also recommend a bottle of water, some snacks, a spare inner tube that fits your wheel and tyre levers and a pump if you have them.
