Wonderful Windrush Wander from Burford to Sherborne

From the Doctors Sugery in sheep st in Burford we will head west through upton, along the lanes to Little Barrigton, past the Fox, through Windrush to Sherborne, where we will stop for refreshment. We come back along the same lane to the Fox, then left up the short hill to Great Barrington, and back to Burford through Taynton.

A lovely route along the south side of the Windrush Valley

Almost all on country Lanes. One steep hill in Barrington (which we can walk up if need be....but we mostly managed it last time)

We will stop for refreshment at the cafe in the village shop at Sherborne

Bring a serviceable bike, a helmet and a spare inner tube if you can, money for refreshments, and a face covering if you want to pop into the shop
