This ride is a fitness ride and is aimed to stretch your fitness. It is an inclusive ride and we will probably split into 2 groups to encompass the abilities of the group. We leave nobody behind so if you have felt intimidated by fitness rides before this is your opportunity to try one out! Make sure you have had something to eat before you arrive (a piece of toast and jam will do) as a quick energy boost.

The route is our usual Norton loops setting out from The Retreat. We aim to complete 4 loops of approximately 4-5 miles, although this can be tailored to the groups needs/weather conditions.

The roads are country lanes with some light traffic.

We ride the route several times with the aim of increasing our speed on each loop.

Please bring all the usual kit - helmets, spare innertubes, water, medication, etc.
