    Starting at - Waters Edge and WoodlandsThis mainly flat route explores the beautiful Green Park, Southampton to Waterside and Woodlands on the edge of the New Forest. Using Cycle paths and quiet roads the route heads out through Milbrook housing estate crossing the River Test and onto the famous Eling Tidal Mill, Crossing the toll bridge (FREE FOR CYCLISTS) you’ll make your way up Eling Hill passing St Mary the Virgin Church, to the new off-road cycle path to Marchwood. You’ll pass Southampton’s Training Camp at Staplewood before crossing Marchwood bypass onto Forest roads. We skirt by the Bold Forester which is a good stopping point. Further along Deerleap lane we pass the New Forest Wildlife Park which also has a coffee stop, but we continue, passing Longdown Dairy Farm before heading to Spot in the Woods at Woodlands which will be our stopping point. After refreshments we head back via Netley Marsh along Ashurst Bridge Road to Totton and back to our starting point at Green Park, SO16 4QF

    Starting at - We start from Eling car park, Eling Hill, Eling, SO40 9HF, just over the toll bridge (free to cyclists) from there we cycle past St Mary the Virgin Church as we head towards Pooks Green, passing Marchwood Gospel Church and onto quiet country roads to Beaulieu, crossing Beaulieu River and a short climb up Beaulieu Hill to Hilltop were we join Exbury Road passing Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway on our way to Inchmery Lane, and Lepe Lane to our coffee stop at Lepe Country Park. (entrance to Lepe Country Park is not included in the ride). After coffee we head along the quiet roads and cycling paths to Dibden Purlieu and along Roman Road and picking up the cycle path that runs alongside Marchwood road and back to our starting point at Eling Car park. A distance of approx 29 miles. , SO40 9HF

    Starting at - We meet at The Pavilion on the Park, at Eastleigh and head out to North Baddesley using the cycle way along Castle Lane, we then we cycle to Belbins skirting Romsey and along Bunny Lane to Furzedown Road and into Kings Somborne where we will stop for coffee and refreshments. We head back along Winchester Road and onto Farley Mount Road, Sparsholt Road, onto Pitt where we pass South Winchester Golf Course, our route then takes us into Winchester where we pick up the viaduct trail following the River Test, a chalk stream at that point, passing St Catherines Hill and on to the Hockley viaduct, we then head along Otterbourne Hill to Boyatt Wood and back to Eastleigh.Ride distance approx. 36 miles., SO50 9LH

  • A Picturesque Ride through the Meon Valley

    Starting at - Come and join us for a ride through the Meon Valley visiting the Medieval Market Town of Bishops Waltham where we have the option to stop for coffee. We will then continue through the country Lanes to Hambledon, home to what is reputed to be the oldest cricket club in the country, we pass by Hambledon vineyard before arriving at our next stop The Old Forge for a light lunch then it’s mostly country lanes through Boarhunt, Curdrige and Wickham back to West End.The route has a few inclines but nothing to daunting and we will never leave anyone behind.Please bring clothing appropriate for the weather, a spare inner tube to fit your bike and some cash for coffee etc, and a lock to secure your bike. A helmet is a advised.Starting point is on the corner of Moorgreen Road, and Botley Road by the park bench. Ride distance is approx. 30 miles, SO30 3JS
