Take the family for a ride in one of these great parks in the West Midlands. Each park offers something different, and each one is perfect for little ones who need a bit more space to wobble and weave there way around. Make an afternoon of it too, especially during the school holidays...


📌 Kingsbury Water Park

A great ride around Kingsbury Water Park exploring some of the lakes and paths in this lovely country park. Enjoy the sight of birds and wildfowl, and admire attractive views of the lakes. After your easy going ride why not check out some of the other things the park has to offer, from a miniature railway to an adventure playground and cafes. This route is just three miles, but there's lots of opportunities to ride a bit further too!

📌 Allesley Park

This is an ideal route for all the family and all abilities. Totally off road and traffic free. The route is within the popular Allesley Park with free parking. The ride takes you round the park anti-clockwise and takes you past a children's play area, magnificent trees and a pond. There is just one slight incline to get those muscles warm. You can ride round as many times as you want. A wonderful piece of greenery to explore within a busy city!

📌 Malvern and Brueton Park

Malvern and Brueton Park is the heart and lungs of Solihull and there's no better way to explore the delights of the parks than by bike. This easy, flat, three and a half mile route explores the park's many attractions on traffic-free tarmac paths. The parks boast playgrounds, a visitor centre and are home to the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust centre. All in all a great way to get all the family out cycling together.

📌 Cannon Hill Park

A 3.5 mile scenic ride around Cannon Hill Park, one of the premier parks in the city. With beautiful flowerbeds, lakes, pools and a wonderful collection of trees, it's easy to see why. There are many attractions to view along the way such as a Nature Centre and Midland Art Centre. The boating lake and the river Rea offers opportunities to feed the ducks - this is an ideal ride for families in particular.
