A Meadows loop from Saughton Park

A leisurely loop from Saughton Gardens up to the Meadows and back, out via Roseburn Park and Fountainbridge and returning along the canal path to Meggetland, crossing to the Water of Leith Centre and along the path back to Saughton. We will cycle on quiet roads, shared paths, canal paths and riverside paths with only a few short sections on busier roads where we need to join up the pretty bits.

There will be opportunities to pause, chat and enjoy the scenery and to stop for refreshments either on route or at the end of the ride.

Please note: This ride is subject to prevailing weather conditions on the day. If there is a forecast of high winds, ice, frost or other inclement winter weather the ride may be cancelled at short notice.

Helmets and lights are recommended. Bring a spare inner tube, pump and tools to remove your wheels if they are not quick release. A payment card for refreshments and a means of getting home with your bike in the case of a mechanical breakdown.
