This Guided Rides Tregaron ride is open for anyone to join

This ride is a Challenge 40+ ride Do you have a road bike? Do you have a basic repair kit and spare inner tube to fix any punctures or carry out minor repairs if needed? Are you comfortable cycling 30 miles+ at an average speed of 13-15mph? If the answer to ALL of these is YES, then this ride should be perfect for you! If not, why not think about trying some of our 'Steady' or shorter 'Challenging' rides first so you can build your confidence and fitness?

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

This is my 50th birthday so we are aiming to do 50 miles.

From Tregaron, we will travel to Llanio, Coxhead, Olmarch, Llangybi, Silian, Llanybydder, Lampeter, Llanfair Clydogau, Llanddewi Brefi. We will stop in the bakery in Llanybydder and then in the community cafe at Llanddewi Brefi.

The route will then take us back to Tregaron, onto Pontrhydfendigaid and Strata Florida. We may stop for a last snack also. We will then travel back to Tregaron.

This is a non-stop 50 mile route as a challenge for my bucket list. The only stops are comfort breaks. You can bring snacks with you for along the route but there won't be a coffee stop until the end. Please bring plenty of liquid.

Half the route will be on back roads and half on A roads but they shouldn't be busy.

Please wear a helmet, spare inner tubes and tools
