Breeze round Westminster to Fitzrovia Chapel

This short sightseeing route begins and ends at Baker Street Station and shows how easy it is to visit central London on a bike. We take quiet streets to Hyde Park and ride round it to exit on Constitution Hill. We take the protected cycle route round Buckingham Palace and down Birdcage Walk to Horse Guards Parade, the Mall and then north through St James's to Soho and Fitzrovia. The Fitzrovia Chapel, a hidden gem which is free to visit, is the former chapel of the Middlesex Hospital and is richly decorated: https://www.fitzroviachapel.org
After visiting the chapel we'll have coffee in a nearby cafe and then return to Baker Street along quiet streets.

Don't forget to bring a good strong bike lock, as we shall be locking our bikes out of view of the chapel. Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Helmets are a matter of personal choice. Unfortunately e-bikes are not allowed on the Underground, but you can use the train to Marylebone. If coming to Baker Street, you will need to lift your bike up and down the stairs - if you need any help please message the ride leader.
