Summer of Cycling - Breeze to Anderton Boat Lift

Starting from - Victoria Park, Knutsford Road, Warrington - WA4 1DU is our starting point. We will meet at the brick building/changing rooms at the start of the park. Please note that park run will be in progress/ending on your arrival to the park, please be careful of other road users and pedestrians. There is plenty of parking and toilet facilities at the starting location. Please also be aware that there are height restriction barriers in place if you travel with a high cycle rack. WA4 1DU

(0) ReviewsThis road ride will take you out through the Cheshire Lanes to Anderton Boat Lift. We will be following quiet country lanes, passing through south Warrington, Comerbach, Great Budworth before heading back to Warrington via High Leigh and Lymm.
The route will be mostly on quiet country lanes and some minor roads. There will be a few hills to climb, but these are very steady inclines.
We will stop at Anderton Boat Lift visits centre for refreshments, a well deserved rest and natter.
As this is a road ride, it is advisable that riders should wear a cycle helmet. Please also bring spare inner tubes and any special tools you may need for your bike. Please do not worry about punctures, as we are all able to help out. Please bring any money you may need to purchase refreshments at our rest stop.
