Breeze to Billinge and Beyond

Leaving at our usual starting point of Leigh College.. The route consists of a mixture of urban roads, quiet country lanes and designated cycle paths, suitable for road or hybrid bikes. The route heads off from Leigh to Newton and Carr Mill Dam, meandering onto Rainford for a well-earned refreshment break. We will return to Leigh via the cycle paths of the Rainford Bypass and East Lancs.

The ride is challenging in parts with a few steep climbs but we don't leave anyone behind and ride at a pace to suit everyone. Please bring along a drink and energy snacks together with a spare inner tube and wear suitable clothing.
