Breeze to the Spire Cafe

This is the progression ride for the 'Beautiful Beginners in Pinner' programme, taking place on Saturday mornings in Pinner Village Gardens from 13 Jan to 24 Feb. If you have done a couple of the beginner rides or just fancy this ride, do sign on! It's 9 miles with a steep climb which you can walk if you like. It will finish later than the beginner ride.

We're riding to the Spire Cafe on Harrow Hill, next to St Mary's Church. The cafe is raising money to repair the church roof - see more on http://ni7017.wixsite.com/spirecafeharrow. After a bit of a warm-up we'll climb the hill to enjoy the pancakes or breakfast rolls and hot drinks provided by volunteers. After a break we'll descend the hill and return to Pinner via Headstone Manor.

Warm up warm with layers, including gloves and warm socks, and don't forget water, money for the cafe, a pump and a bike lock. Pump up your tyres the day before and check your brakes work (especially for the descent from the Hill).
