The Tibetan Peace Garden is located in the grounds of the Imperial War Museum. It has a number of interesting sculptures and art installations as well as some beautiful planting which should be in full bloom at this time of year.
We will ride up to the City via the Waterlink way, Peckham and Walworth, and take the C7 and C6 along to the Imperial War museum grounds. After visiting the Peace garden there will be a coffee stop at the IWM cafe, where there is outdoor seating if the weather is fine. We will return via C6, C10 and the Waterlink Way.
This is a longer than usual ride, with some climbs, on a mixture of mainly traffic free and quiet roads. There is the possibility, however that some roads may be busy and you should be a competent and confident rider in such traffic conditions.
Please call the leader, Jacqui Turner on 07456840924, if you have booked but there are problems on the day.
