This route is mainly off road apart from the first and last small section. We start on the industrial estate to join an off road path which leads us down to the canal. The rest of the route is canal path so traffic free. We will follow the canal from near Crooke Village, through Shevington up towards Appley Bridge to The Boathouse pub.
Here we will stop for a short break where we can buy a drink or snack so bring money if you wish to do so.
Please also bring a drink as there will be plenty of rest stops. Also a lock and spare inner tube are advisable but not necessities.
