After setting off from Dorchester Leisure Centre and a mile or so to warm up, we will reach the countryside outside town and start climbing Came Down. Passing Came Down Golf Club we get stunning views across to the sea and Portland before descending again into Broadmayne village.

We pass through the village of West Knighton before picking up cycling route NCN2 through West Stafford and returning into Dorchester.

There is NO CAFE STOP on this ride, as wintry weather makes it hard to get going again! Instead, we have the option of having a coffee and chat towards the end, at the Trumpet Major pub next to Max Gate. Those that need to get home can leave us there if they choose.
