Fair Ride to Fairford

A ride into the Cotswolds and around the famous home of the Royal Internetional Air Tatoo, RAF Fairford. Stopping for coffee and one of Fairford town's refreshment points. The ride is mainly on country lanes or B roads.

We head off North West to go round the airfield that's famous for the Annual Tatoo, we may be even see a plane or two. This airfield hosted Concorde 002's maiden flight from Fulton and was designated as an emergency landing strip for some Shuttle missions

Please bring a face mask; you will only have to wear it in the event of first aid being required. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or card for the coffee stop.
