Got To Be Gilbertines

Going out of Shrivenham on the Highworth road tking us out North west via Highworth and Fairford to Sunhill where we start our return leg via Poulton, Down Ampney and Castle Eaton and back via Highworth. There is an option to return via Stanton Fitzwarren

A flat in the Middle Sandwich of a route. On the first and last few miles there are some short but slightly sharp climbs,

Our route is mainly on B and C cat country lanes, No Off road

We will stop at the increasing popular Gilbertines in Pouton which only has outside seating. Toilets are available

Please bring a face mask; you have to wear it on entering a café and in the event of first aid being required. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the coffee stop. Some café’s only take card payments.

If you are new to group cycling then you are welcome to join us, space permitting. Please bear in mind the distance and terrain because although we promise we won't leave you behind we really do want you to enjoy it.
