Starting point

An introduction to Harrow parks along with disused railway line Belmont Trail (all within Harrow). There is an option of joining this ride from Harrow Recreation at 10.30 a.m., Kenton Recreation at 10.35 a.m. and Centenary Park at 10.40 a.m. Message me separately if you wish to do this. This route is fairly flat with very little inclines. This ride is suitable for intermediate level. We start at the cafe in the park and go on metropolitan cycle route towards overpass/underpass link LCN 89 at Harrow towards Roxborough Road, Harrow Recreation, Hindes Road to reach Kenton Recreation Park. From there we go to Centenary Park arriving at Canons Park. Our return journey takes us through Belmont Trail and Byron Park passing Harrow Civic Centre on the left and returning via Harrow Recreation to our start point.

We will cross busy roads at zebra crossings but otherwise the route is mainly on quiet roads with very small busy road sections.
We will do all the hard work first before we stop for coffee at our start/finish point at West Harrow Park cafe or at Harrow Recreation which is under cover on our return journey.

Do not come if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or are in a home with anyone who has. Bring a face mask and hand sanitiser. We will observe social distancing on the ride. Please ensure your bike is in tip-top working order as I cannot touch it. Pump up the tyres, check the brakes and ensure the wheels turn freely.

No special gear needed just water, money for the cafe and a bike lock.
