This ride is aimed at beginners and intermediates.

This bit is important!
You must wear a helmet and correct clothing for British weather.
You must bring and inner tube that is correct for the type of wheels on your bike.
It is highly recommended that you bring something to eat and drink as we pass no shops once we start the ride.

From Hollingworth Lake car park we head off around the lake anti clockwise to pick up the trail to take us into Littleborough where we pick up the Rochdale Canal. We stay on the canal until the Warland area. From there we do a short stretch on the A6033. Turn right to climb up above Alderbrook to pick up the Pennine Way which we follow as it weaves it’s way around Ringing Pots Hill and High Lee Slack.
Somewhere in this area we’ll stop for the main break.
Then onwards dropping down to Watergrove Reservoir and Waingap Hill after which we’ll have a go on a Pump Track which is really good fun. After which we go through Healey Dell, passing Broadley!
Touching into the outskirts of Rochdale then passing Clegg Hall before finishing back at Hollingworth.
