Quay to Cycling - Winter Miles Summer Smiles.

Starting from Halfords we make our way using a mixture of roads and cycle trails over to the Roe Green Loopline towards Monton, from there we join the canal to take us most of the way to Salford Quays. There is a small section on the road. After the cafe stop we come back via Eccles before rejoining the loopline . We finish our ride with a section on the road to get back to Halfords. This is a fairly flat ride elevation 860 ft.

Led by Lesley & Martin ,this ride is part of Horwich Ride Socials 'Winter Miles Summer Smiles' winter cycling campaign. If you complete 4 of our community rides over January and February then you will receive a small gift.

You must be a member of HRS to take part. If you are not already a member then please go to our website at https://www.horwichridesocial.org/ to complete a New Participant Form. Helmets are mandatory on our rides. Please ensure you bring a spare iner tube, tryrte levers and a pump in case of a puncture. We will have a cafe stop at Salford Quays but please bring any additional drinks /snacks you may need. Remember to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately, we'll still cycle in the rain.
