Rail,ride,route 45

It’s Bewdley Bike Events week again and on Friday 30th May, I am pleased you can join me on the rail, ride and route 45, catching the steam train from Bewdley Severn Valley Railway at 10.30am. (Meet at 10am at the free car park at Blackstone Picnic Place, DY12 1PU, located between Stourport and Bewdley off the A456 Bewdley by-pass) The train stops at Hampton Loade and we cycle back to Arley (5 miles) where we stop for refreshments at Arley Arboretum and then onto Bewdley (6 miles by MTB) following the Cycle Route 45 and riverbank. The route from Hampton Loade to Arley is suitable for MTB and gravel bikes, after Arley Arboretum you can choose your return route to Bewdley depending on the amount of climbing desired or off-road surface your bike is best suited to. If the weather isn’t brilliant, we also have the option to return to Bewdley on the train from Arley Station at 12.55.

Please bring spare inner tube, pump, multitool and worm plus a drink and waterproof.
