This route takes us to most of the decorated postboxes created by Ruislip Arts and Crafters to brighten the place up and raise money for Young Minds (optional donation https://youngminds.org.uk/donate/). It will be a slow and longish ride, as we will stop for any photos people want, so please note that we are leaving earlier than usual. There are some moments of busy traffic, so you need to be a confident rider. Numbers are limited as we will observe the Rule of Six and cannot sit down in a cafe. We will observe social distancing; please bring hand sanitiser and a mask for buying refreshments.

Before you come please check your bike, lubricate the chain, pump up the tyres and ensure the brakes work and the wheels turn freely. Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly, especially gloves.

A tour round the decorated postboxes of Ruislip - Easter-themed

Almost none of the route is traffic-free. Although the roads are mostly quiet, this is not a beginner ride as there is some traffic

We'll stop at a cafe or bakery for refreshments (bring a keep cup if you have one). Toilets at Waitrose Ruislip if necessary

Money for the cafe, water; dress for the weather

We never leave anyone behind
