This is a SPOKES MEDIUM Pace ride, average speed 9 to 11 mph, organised by SPOKES SW Herts Cycling Group now led by PETER, as Mick is injured.

Full days ride to Hertford Town Centre, spending 3 to 3.5 hours free time exploring the Town Centre with plenty of independent shops and cafes. Meeting up at Wetherspoons, 1 The Wash, SG14 1PS (next to Hertford Castle) at 3.15 p.m. for a 3.30pm departure for our return. The entire ride is on NCR 61. Out on Ebury Way and Abbey Way to St Albans then Alban Way and Cole Green Way to Hertford. So, 3 traffic free converted railway lines, all good surface and not a hilly ride.

Note earlier than normal start time. Lights will be needed, in addition to the normal spare tube and tools etc.
