12th Night, and a visit to the RAF Museum, not to be missed! Ride with Peter via Letchmore Heath, Borehamwood, Barnet Gate and Mill Hill to the museum for a look around and refreshment. About 3 hours in the museum. Return via Burnt Oak and Stanmore. 1122 feet climbing not too challenging. Bike racks outside the museum so locks needed. Secure spacious lockers inside for helmets etc. (£1 coin to operate, returned on departure). Link to route GPX: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/26660055
You may need lights for riding home and, if you wear cleated bike shoes, may wish to take non cleated footwear for walking around the museum.
If you wish, join me at the Oxhey Activity park at 9:20 to ride up to the Rutts on a 3.6 mile route avoiding most of the A411. Let me know by a note in this rides conversation.
