Join Peter to catch the 9:37 train to Euston, ride to St Pancras then a train to arrive Ramsgate 12:11. Cycle the Viking trail, a quiet road and coastal trail (well surfaced). Hopefully anti clockwise so we can have a sea front lunch snack but clockwise if strong coastal breezes from the north. About a third of the route is coastal, from Ramsgate to Reculver then quiet lanes back to Ramsgate. Evening meal at the very large seafront Wetherspoon aiming to return on the 20:07 from Ramsgate arriving Watford 22:14 or earlier train. Approximate fare £37 with railcard or group saver tickets.
