St George's Day Ride Slay the Dragon a bit late

We have had to reschedule this ride. So it’s a post St George’s Day Ride. Out and back via Local Villages on mainly flat road until we get to the dragon when we will climb from about 100m above sea level to 225 metres.

It's St Georges day. If you are looking for dragon, then look no further than Dragon Hill (aka White Horse Hill). Are you to slaying it, why not come and find out on this otherwise gentle 15 miles ride. When we did it before everyone, even our slowest riders made it to the top then celebrated with coffee at a local hostelry

We will be on country roads and lanes the whole time

We stop at the top to regather and take a swig from our water bottles before safely making our way down to Woolstone, and then back to Shriv.

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, (GLOVES) and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the refreshment stop. Some place’s only take card payments.
