Starting point

Oxfordshire
SN6 8AF

We will be riding on the country roads and lanes in the Vale of the White Horse. You can join the ride at Shrivenham, Bishopstone or Ashbury. Hopefully the weather will be a bit better than in our image.

NB The words below seem to have come from a previous time we rode this route and I can't edit them out. Sadly there are no Pizzas on this ride

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

A bit of a two counties ride in which, briefly, we pop from Oxfordshire into Wiltshire before returning to our home county and winding our through some local villages before returning to Shrivenham just in time for wood fired pizzas at a local inn.

All of this route is on quieter country lanes

No refreshment stops planned, as we want to get back for Pizzas (and liquid refreshements) , but we can stop for a breather if necessary so bring a full water bottle and a snack bar if you wish.

For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the pizza stop.

First-timers welcome!
