MID WEEK MEET UP -Trip to Twin Lakes Velo

Come and join Celia and Val on this lovely scenic route over to famous Twin Lakes Velo at Croston. we will travel along a mixture of busy roads, quieter country lanes some of which single track, passing through scenic countryside.

We have permission to park at the Alison Arms, Preston Rd, Coppull. Please park at the far end of the car park away from the main entrance. Preston Road, Chorley Please arrive 10 mins before the ride to allow for bike check

The roads will be a mixture of busy roads, quiter country lanes, single track lanes all the way to the quaint, picture perfect village of Croston.

The twin lakes veto will be our cafe stop, around half way along the route.We will also stop at intervals to take in the views and to take photographs for our social media, should you not wish to have your photo taken please inform the leaders.

Be sure to equip yourselves with inner tubes, tyre levers and a pump in case of mechanical breakdown, Also please check over your bike the night before to avoid delays at the start. As on all HRS rides helmets must be worn - no helmet no ride! Bring along a drink and some form of payment for the cafe (cash preferred but not essential) If you are not a member of HRS please download a form from: www.horwichridesocial.org fill in the form and return before the ride. Should you be unable to do this a paper form will be provided on the ride.
