Watford Cycle Hub Breeze: To Frithsden Vineyard May Open Day

This ride is for ladies (& their children) who want to ride a little bit faster & aim for an average of 10-11 mph over the undulating route. A lovely ride through the country lanes, up & over the Chiltern Hills to Frithsden Vineyard & back for their May Open Day with free wine tasting! :) The cake & coffee is also excellent so have what you fancy - this will be a calorie neutral ride! :) There are no killer hills on the way out - honest - it's just rolling. However there's one whopper on the way back - Felden Lane - which you can take on or skip by taking the train to Watford Junction from Hemel Station just before it. I'm happy if ladies want to come on this ride as a 'step up ride' from already riding 20+ miles, but now wanting to start to cycle a little bit quicker. This ride will be repeated on Saturday 10th June, start 11:30am again from Watford Cycle Hub, as a slower pace ride, to give more ladies the chance to do the route and enjoy the June Fete with free wine tasting at Frithsden Vineyard! On this ride, odds on, we're be getting the train home from Hemel so it will be more about riding to a lovely destination & spending a leisurely afternoon in each other's company, before heading back. Please bring: a spare inner tube just in case...& money if you want to buy anything or may want to take the train back to Watford from Hemel. I love this route & retreating to Frithsden Vineyard & am really look forward to sharing it with you all, as always, Georgia x
