Let's Train (To Become BikeLingual)

We are confident road cyclists and slightly bike-mad, from different locations throughout the North West inc Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, South Ribble, Blackburn with Darwen, North Wales & not forgetting the magnificent coastline; all within around an hour's train ride on popular rail networks who prefer to arrive at meeting points by train. We will either start rides right outside major train stations or within a 5-mile radius of one. Our rides will be along main/quiet roads, country lanes, streets, cycleways and well maintained towpaths: any paved surface suitable for road bikes (or hybrids with road/slick tyres) with even the skinniest of tyres (25 mm). We need to justify the train fare and travel time invested so (most) rides will be no shorter than 30 miles! Our stops for refreshments may even be taken at the end of the ride near train stations. We will ride at a brisk average speed of 11-13mph. (Oh, and if you want to practise speaking Spanish whilst riding: pues, ¡eres más que bienvenido/a a nuestra peña de ciclistas aventureros/as!)
