A Flat ride for a FriDay

Out on Townsend Road, over the railway to Bourton and then Back to Shrivenham this time missing the high street as we pick up the Longcot Rd and continue on this until our Turn to Uffington, A whiz through Uffington and then back via Fernham (oops a small hill here!!), passing through Longcot and The Military MQs in Watchfield to keep off the main rd as much as possib;e

A chance for new folk to join our Frydy Rydes an a flat 15 miler taking in Bourton, Shrivenham, Longcot and Uffington

We will be on country lanes with light traffic and residential roads

No planned cafe stops, though there is an opportunity for snacks in Uffington. We can have a cuppa and a cake when we return to Shrivenham

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, (GLOVES) and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the refreshments at the end. Some place’s only take card payments.
