Amberswood Loop

This is a circular route from Winstanleys to the canal path, then following the locks to cycle route 55, then heading towards Amberswood. Around the lake and back on cycle path towards the canal where we re join the canal path we went on and back through Wigan Pier and to Fresh choice cafe . After a coffee/brew and a chat, we will finish the route by cycling back to Winstanleys.

Most of the ride is traffic free apart from the small section from Winstanley's cycles to the canal at the back of the DW stadium. It is a quiet industrial road.

We will have a coffee stop at The Postcode on the way back.

Helmets are a must please why there is road riding. Also bring spare inner tubes, tools etc for quick repairs if possible. Bring money for our stop and dress for the weather.
