Cycling to Carr Mill Dam

The ride will use the East Lancs Cycle Path to Lowton and then the main road into Newton le Willows before picking up the Sankey Valley canal to take us to Carr Mill Dam where we will stop for refreshments and a chat before returning.

This is a fairly flat ride and is ideal for beginners or people returning to cycling. We'll have plenty stops along the way and always ride at a pace to suit all our riders.

Please dress to suit the weather and bring a spare inner tube if you have one, or a puncture repair kit. We will be calling at the cafe so please bring money if you want to buy something.
