Starting from - Outside Baker Street station, Boots the Chemists on Baker Street North of Marylebone Road. This is not at the front of the station near Sherlock Holmes statue! From the Met Line platforms you turn right, go up the stairs and follow the corridor round past the Bakerloo line escalators. Please message the ride leader if you need help lifting your bike. This women-only ride takes us from Baker Street through Kensington and Chelsea to the traffic-free Albert Bridge, crossing to Battersea Park where we'll stop for toilets and refreshments. Bring a snack and a drink, or you can buy them at a kiosk.

We continue through Vauxhall and Waterloo to the National Theatre for the start of the Women's Freedom Ride organised by the London Cycling Campaign Women's Network. Please ensure you register for the Ride via https://lcc.org.uk/events/lcc-womens-network-freedom-ride-2026/. After the ride you can stay for a picnic and make your own way back; or if you prefer we can lead you to Aldgate Station for the Met Line home. Just let the leaders know your plans.

This is a chance to celebrate women's campaigning around cycle safety in London and to ask for better! We all deserve to be safe while cycling. Come and add your support!

Feeder ride for the Women's Freedom Ride 2026 - from Baker Street via Battersea to the National Theatre - back to Aldgate if you like, afterwards

Most is on quiet streets, with some moments in traffic and some through parks

We'll stop in Battersea Park for toilets and refreshments

Bring water, use sunscreen if needed; bring a good strong bike lock in case you need to lock up your bike. If you like, wear something festive or in suffragette colours!
