Shrivenham Traditional Mince Pie Bike Ride

please see the map for the chosen route though we have to make small alterations on the day but we will definitely be going past the Christmas House in Stainswick Lane

These traditional Christmas bike rides may not go back centuries but are becoming a regular feature in the local calendar. Many people will get dressed up as santas, elves, reindeer or what ever takes their fancy (prizes will be awareded!!!) We will tour many of roads and street of the village spreading good cheer as we go. Our efforts will be rewarded when we arrive at our destination and courtesy of Ben at the Price of Wales tuck into some warm mince pies

we will be on the local roads within the 20 mph speed limit at all times

No planned stops except the important one at the end when prizes will be awarded to the best dressed elves or fairies

all children must be accompanied by an adult and must wear an approved (CE marked or US equivalent) Helmet. E bikes, Trikes, Tag alongs and trailers welcome. Helmets are recommended for adults though not compulsory. You will need cash or card to purchase drinks to wash down your mince pies

with many new people in the village this is an opportunity to get together with other families. Our ride leaders will ensure that everyone is safe and that no-one gets lost.
